Supply Chain Planner LATAM - Uruguay

Your role

Interfood is looking for a Supply Chain Planner responsible for planning the flow of dairy products from LATAM, including inland operations in Brazil. The role converts customer demand, supplier availability, and commercial commitments into executable supply chain plans, ensuring product availability, contract fulfillment, and on-time deliveries.

The Planner drives daily operational excellence while strengthening partnerships and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across the value chain.

We are looking for an analytical profile with excellent communication skills who is organized and can adapt to different systems and modalities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor purchase and sales orders to ensure contract compliance.
  • Plan end-to-end logistics operations considering transit time, modalities and requirements for each market and customer.
  • Collect transactional requirements / forecasts of customers and suppliers as input for mid –long-term planning, and to create the short-term allocation planning with suppliers and customers.
  • Review and confirm the detailed operational feasibility and accuracy of reservation plans before execution.
  • Work as the main link between Supply Chain and Commerce to align daily priorities, find business opportunities, and create the best value for Interfood.
  • Process all daily adjustments, irregularities and other business topics occurring in relation to running day-to-day operations and suggest mitigation actions towards.
  • Gain deep understanding / context of the external relations regarding potential future risks, implications and opportunities.
  • Maintain high data accuracy by entering, updating, and validating supplier and customer master data and transactional information in operational systems, ensuring real-time visibility and reliable planning across the supply chain.
  • Identify risks and opportunities within the logistics and commercial position.
  • Work with data and systems, analyzing inventory levels, product movements, and future requirements to optimize the supply chain.

 

Your profile

Technical or university degree in Logistics, Business Administration, International Business Studies, or related fields.
Portuguese, Spanish and English are required.
Minimum of 3 years of export-import operations and/or Supply Chain Planning, preferably in Latam Markets.
Knowledge regarding export process from Argentina, Uruguay and Chile is valued as well as knowledge about import process in Brazil for dairy products.
Experience with truck distribution and warehouse management.
Experience with working in a dynamic, international environment with a strong commercial focus.
