Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to make a real impact in the food industry? Interfood is seeking an enthusiastic intern to join our Sustainability team. As Sustainability Intern, you will collaborate closely with the sustainability team working on projects aimed at elevating sustainability standards in the food supply chains. Your role will involve a hand-on approach, while you assist in managing both Interfood internal sustainability projects as well as multi-stakeholder partnerships focused on delivering technical, on-farm and knowledge-based solutions in the value chain. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful change in the industry.

Some key areas where you will contribute include:

Promoting sustainability across the company: In line with our ambition to address scope 1 & 2 emissions and embed sustainability in InterFoods DNA, you will play a key role in the roll-out of a Global Interfood program. With your communication skills and innovative mindset, you will play a key role in engaging internal stakeholders in sustainability projects. This will allow you to get to know and work with a variety of colleagues globally.
On-farm sustainability: Our scope 3 on-farm projects allow for meaningful change in the industry. As a strong communicator you will support in managing expectations and needs of different internal and external stakeholders in these projects. Your structured way of working allows you to support scope 3 projects in multiple ways, from data management and analysis to research or project planning.
Digital solutions: With data as a key enabler of our strategy, our digital solutions play a big role in achieving our impact ambitions. This requires the ability to evaluate solutions from different perspectives and translate the needs of different users into concrete improvements, where you can be a great help.
Sustainability control & reporting: Support our control team in tracking and managing the financial and operational aspects of sustainability initiatives, as well as meeting reporting and compliance requirements, such as the CSRD.

Your profile

Currently enrolled in university.

Possible to work at least 3 days a week in the office in Eindhoven.

You are proficient in English both verbally and written.

Familiarity with product owner or project management processes is a plus.

You are innovative and curious, with a flexible mindset to act fast and a drive to make the world a better place, one step at a time.

You are well-organized and take a structured approach to projects.

Have affinity with Microsoft Office and the ability to work with data.
