OutSystems Developer - Netherlands

Your role

If this sounds like you, keep reading as we are looking for an OutSystems Developer to design, develop, and implement game-changing applications using the OutSystems low-code platform.

What you will be doing:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure applications within the OutSystems platform.
Be involved throughout the full development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and fellow developers to turn ideas into functional applications.
Write code cleaner and more efficient than your grandmother’s kitchen.
Follow development standards and best practices to keep quality high (and surprises low).
Optimize applications so they run smoother than your morning coffee machine.
Ensure seamless integration with third-party systems.
Troubleshoot issues faster than you can say “debug mode.”
Stay up to date with the latest OutSystems trends, updates, and features, like a true tech enthusiast.
Make sure security, privacy, and compliance are always part of the solution.
Support testing activities and help deliver high-quality releases.
Contribute to CI/CD processes and understand deployment pipelines within OutSystems.
Monitor applications, analyze logs, and proactively spot improvements before others do.
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.

Your profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in software development, including 2–3 years with OutSystems, with a proven track record of building high-quality applications.

Strong expertise in OutSystems O11 (ODC is a plus), including certifications, and experience with Service Center, Lifetime, and environment management.

Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and deployment processes, combined with experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Proficiency in SQL, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and integration technologies such as REST and SOAP APIs.

Ability to design and develop applications that effectively support business processes, with strong knowledge of databases and data modeling.

Strong problem-solving mindset, able to turn complex challenges into smart, practical solutions with a focus on performance and security.

Comfortable working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, both in person and remotely, and being in the office around three days per week on average.

A continuous improvement mindset, with an eye for UX/UI, system integrations (APIs, event-driven architecture), and a drive to exceed expectations.

Eligible to work in the Netherlands and comfortable working in English in an international environment.
