QA Coordinator

Your role

Interfood, an international company in dairy trading, is looking for a QA Coordinator to join the Quality Assurance team in Bladel (Netherlands). In this role you will report to the QA Manager.

As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you are the first technical contact for all product-related quality matters including questionnaires, approval processes and non-conformances in the fields of quality and logistics. You work closely with your colleagues in Trade and Supply Chain.

In a trade-driven organization you will furthermore deliver a significant contribution to optimization of technical relationships with suppliers and customers. Through your knowledge, skills, experience and international network in the food industry you are able to change quality challenges of a customer, supplier or our own organization into a business opportunity for all parties involved.

Your activities include, but are not limited to:

being the first internal point of contact for Trade and Supply Chain for advice about dairy products and non-conformances (quality and/or logistics related);
working on approval processes, including reviewing raw material specifications;
completing questionnaires and issuing statements;
maintaining and expanding our supplier database, including meetings to improve technical cooperation with our international suppliers and customers;
preparing and managing internal and/or external audits.
Work on small/medium sized projects to improve our way of working, internally and externally.

Your profile

Bachelor/Master level, with 5-6 years' experience in a quality role in the food industry (preferably dairy)

Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS).

Experience with small/medium sized project management and stakeholder management

Ability to work autonomously, setting clear priorities and delivering both corrective and preventive solutions.

A service-oriented mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You're a good relationship builder and team player, you work together with others to achieve the company goals. You build networks internally and externally, connecting to both technical and commercial people comes easy to you.

A strong sense of initiative and accountability, ensuring efficient and creative issue resolution with a commercial perspective.

Excellent communication skills in English (proficiency in Dutch and an additional language such as Spanish or Chinese is a plus)
