Commercial Project Manager - Netherlands

Your role

As a Commercial Project Manager, you are part of the Commercial organization and play a key role in driving business growth through the successful delivery of customer and supplier projects across Europe.

You turn commercial opportunities into action. Together with Account Managers and cross-functional teams, you ensure projects are delivered effectively, efficiently, and with strong stakeholder alignment. You connect people, keep momentum high, and make sure priorities translate into results.

In this role, you work closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Quality, and external partners. You are not just focused on execution, you also challenge the status quo, spot smarter ways of working, and help improve Interfood’s commercial effectiveness and customer experience. In doing so, you help strengthen our position as the partner of choice for customers and suppliers.

Your key responsibilities

  • Own commercial projects from kick-off to delivery and drive them to successful implementation.
  • Create and steer project plans, managing timelines, budget, risks, dependencies, and priorities.
  • Act as the connecting force between Account Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver on project goals and KPIs.
  • Align stakeholders, manage expectations, and keep communication clear, constructive, and action-oriented.
  • Track progress closely, flag risks and deviations early, and drive timely decisions and follow-up actions.
  • Lead project meetings, create clarity on next steps, and ensure actions are followed through.
  • Step into the details when needed and provide hands-on support to keep projects moving.
  • Identify smarter ways of working and continuously improve project execution across the business.

Your profile

3–5 years of relevant experience in project management within a commercial, international B2B environment, with a proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects from kick-off to implementation.
Structured, analytical, and hands-on, with the ability to switch between the bigger picture and details while proactively driving projects forward.
Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, priorities, risks, and dependencies, including customer and supplier projects.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to align, persuade, and translate ideas into clear and compelling materials.
Experience in process improvement and implementing smarter ways of working.
Service-oriented, trustworthy, and collaborative team player, combining independence with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages (e.g. Dutch, French, German, Polish, Italian) are a plus.
