Export Coordinator
Your role
Are you at your best when international shipments, documentation, and multiple stakeholders need to come together at exactly the right time?
As an Export Coordinator at Interfood, you coordinate international dairy shipments from order readiness through to final delivery. You ensure that documentation is accurate, regulatory requirements are met, and shipments are executed reliably and on time.
Your working day combines shipment planning, time-sensitive document coordination, and contact with suppliers, customers, warehouses, and transport providers. Because each destination can have different customs, certification, and documentation requirements, you work closely with colleagues from Trade, Finance, and Quality Assurance to ensure every shipment is correctly prepared and executed.
As our new Supply Chain Planner you:
- Manage international shipments from planning through final delivery, ensuring deliveries are made on time and in a cost-efficient way.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, warehouses, transport providers, and internal teams to keep shipments moving smoothly.
- Prepare, verify, and manage export documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, health certificates, and customs declarations.
- Ensure shipments comply with International Commercial Terms, customs requirements, international trade regulations, and applicable dairy industry standards.
- Monitor shipment progress and take proactive action when delays, documentation issues, or other disruptions occur.
- Keep track of transportation costs and operational performance and help identify opportunities for improvement.
- Look for smarter and more efficient ways of working and contribute to the continuous improvement of our logistics processes.
Your colleagues
Why Interfood?
What I like about Interfood is that no two days are the same. We work in an international and dynamic environment where you are given the freedom to take ownership and make a real contribution. There are always new challenges and opportunities to improve the way we work, which makes it a great place to keep learning and developing.
What do you expect from your new colleague?
We are looking for someone who is curious, takes ownership and enjoys working together. In Export, things don’t always go exactly as planned, so being flexible and solution-oriented is important. You don’t need to know everything from day one. We value someone who asks questions, wants to understand the bigger picture and isn’t afraid to take initiative
What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I enjoy running and being creative. I also love spending time with my family and going on little adventures with my daughter.
