Commercial assistant

Your role

Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to play a key role in a fast-paced international trade environment? Interfood is looking for a Commercial Assistant to strengthen our Commercial Support Team and help ensure our commercial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately managing contract administration, handling a wide range of administrative tasks, and supporting operational activities that directly contribute to the success of our commercial processes. Working closely with colleagues from both the Commercial Support and Sales teams, you’ll bring structure to internal workflows and customer-central operations.

You’ll be encouraged to contribute ideas and help streamline and professionalize our processes, ensuring we continuously elevate the performance of our team.

As our new Commercial Assistant you will:

• Manage contract administration, including the distribution of sales contracts and processing of signed return contracts
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and independently propose and implement more efficient ways of working, with a focus on structure and procedural clarity
• Maintain contract templates used as the foundation for sales agreements: create templates, align content with internal stakeholders, and proactively initiate periodic reviews to ensure content remains up to date
• Oversee the commercial mailbox by monitoring incoming messages, setting priorities, and ensuring timely and appropriate follow-up actions with customers and/or colleagues
• Process price adjustments in internal systems, coordinating closely with relevant departments to ensure alignment
• Ensure accurate maintenance of master data in all applicable systems
• Organize international trade fairs, taking full ownership of event coordination from start to finish in close collaboration with commercial and marketing teams
• Support the team with various operational tasks such as processing credit card expense claims, organizing corporate gifts, preparing presentations, and arranging logistics for internal and external visits
