Internship Dairy R&D (milk powders)


Dairy powders are used in different end application and depending on these application, different properties are demanded by the customer. Characteristics of dairy powders are important for the functionalities of these powders and finally in their end application. Within dairy powders, powders behave in different ways and it is key to know how they function under different conditions and to assess most common challenges that companies face during product development.

In order to better match customer’s demand with supply possibilities, Interfood is looking to expand its experience in this area. Are you interested in an internship about development of research methodologies for powder analysis?

Activities within this internship are:

  • Determining the project scope and performing literature research.
  • Developing first-hand insights and experimental protocol with state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Reporting findings and communicating your findings with colleagues.

Your profile

HBO / University degree in a food technology or bioengineering field, e.g. food science, food innovation, food engineering or a related field.
Affinity with practical and theoretical work.
Result-oriented and self-driven mindset.
Experience with instrumental analysis methods is a plus.
Experience with developing research methodology is beneficial.
