Junior Trader (Native French and/or Dutch)
Your role
As a Junior Trader, you are part of our commercial trade team, you are responsible for develop business opportunities and maintaining existing customer and supplier relationships. Your mission is to identify opportunities others don't see, create profitable business and turn them into successful international deals.
This is a role for someone with a competitive mindset. Someone who enjoys winning, thrives on responsibility and is motivated by commercial results. Eager to outperform yesterday's results, push beyond targets and continuously grow your market, your network and yourself. At the same time, you understand that sustainable success is never achieved alone. As our new Junior Trader you:
- Maintain and further develop existing customer and supplier relationships.
- Create new business opportunities in your assigned markets.
- Identify and monitor market and product developments and periodically report these to the Managing Director and Commercial Director.
- Position Interfood as the global dairy expert.
- Execute the commercial strategy in consultation with Senior Traders and Traders.
- Draft purchase and sales contracts using the correct Incoterms and payment terms.
- Visit customers / suppliers in your assigned markets and attend international trade fairs.
- Participate actively in the weekly Traders Meeting.
- Set ambitious annual goals for your markets, customers and suppliers.
