Permeate prices continue to slowly appreciate in line with the rest of the whey market. Most product is now trading above the EUR 1000 threshold and below EUR 1100 ex works, depending on specifications. Supply feels a bit stronger, but the market does not have a problem absorbing these volumes.

Optimism about the pork market lifted US prices higher
US feed permeate prices are at about USD 780 delivered Asia after a brief stint at even higher levels of around USD 800. A 10% increase in pork prices injected some optimism in the permeate market.
