Your role

Interfood is looking for an individual to join our team in the role of QA Coordinator to join the Quality Assurance team. In this role you will report to the QA Manager. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you are the first technical contact for all product related, quality matters including questionnaires, approval processes and non-conformances. You work closely with your colleagues of Trade and Supply Chain. 

In a trade-driven organization you will furthermore, deliver a significant contribution to optimization of technical relationships with suppliers and customers. Through your knowledge, skills, experience and international network in the food industry you are able to change quality challenges of a customer, supplier or our own organization into a business opportunity for all parties involved. 

Your activities include, but are not limited to:

  • being the first internal point of contact for Trade and Supply Chain for advice about products and non-conformances; 
  • working on approval processes, including reviewing raw material specifications; 
  • completing questionnaires and issuing statements; 
  • maintaining and expanding our supplier database, including meetings to improve technical cooperation;
  • preparing and managing internal and/or external audits.  

Your profile

Bachelor/Master level, preferably in the food industry.
You're a good relationship builder and team player. Connecting to both technical and commercial people comes easily to you.
Service is in your DNA. You are able to autonomously set priorities, and you're solution-oriented, both corrective and preventive.
Experience in the food industry (preferably dairy) and in working with relevant quality systems (QMS).
Your communications and language skills (at least English) are above average.
