Credit Controller
Your role
Within this role you will be part of the Business & Credit Control team who are responsible for all business and credit control activities within Interfood Europe. You will be responsible for all credit control tasks, managing the complete debtors administration and the associated work activities. You do this with a clear focus on process improvements and automation. Your tasks and responsibilities will be divided in 2 result areas: credit collection, and accounting and administration. In this role you will support and report to the Senior Business Controller.
As our new Credit Controller you:
- process cash collections.
- chase overdue customers.
- proactively contact all relevant end customers, sales agents, traders and other finance departments.
- improve, develop and implement new collection procedures.
- are responsible for reporting overdues to credit insurer and Interfood Global (Holding).
- are responsible for monitoring and maintaining debtor suspense accounts and customer ledger reconciliations.
- are responsible for daily bank bookings.
- maintain supplier finance administration.
Your profile
Bachelor (HBO) work- and thinking level.
Good communications and language skills (Dutch and English both verbally and written).
Good knowledge of automated systems (MS Office and JDE knowledge is a pre).
Experience with financial administration and accounting.
Enterprising, assertive, result oriented, committed, independent, proactive and critical.
Numerical insight and accurate working attitude.
